Membership of the Club is open to archers who have completed an Archery GB beginners’ course or who are already experienced archers.

Archery GB qualified coaches run Beginners’ Courses at Meriden on a regular basis and these enable newcomers to the sport to learn the basics of safe shooting and good techniques. Contact us to obtain further information on our Courses.

As an experienced archer, club membership is available after an assessment by one of our club coaches – this is not a test of shooting skill, but an assessment of safe shooting. Further coaching is also available on request and the Club has Coaches of all levels working regularly at the Club.

Our Membership Year runs from 1st October to 30th September although for the current year we are full. We are accepting applications for the new Membership Year that begins on 1st October 2023 and a copy of the Application Form can be downloaded using this link:

Note: Completing and signing an Application or Renewal Form requires you to confirm that you have read the Club Rules and Constitution. These can be downloaded from the Members’ Pages.

Bob Elen Meriden has a very active Junior Club, meeting most Saturday mornings and competing regularly during the shooting year. Several of our Junior archers are members of national squads and shoot in National and International level competitions.

Meriden members are affiliated through the club to Archery GB, the West Midlands Archery Society and the County of Warwick Archery Association.

Archery GB members are welcome to shoot as visitors and may shoot at the Club 6 times before joining, paying a target fee of £10 (£5 for U18s). You will need to be introduced and accompanied by a Meriden member, produce your Archery GB membership card and sign our Visitors’ Book.

Please contact us to arrange this.
