Corporate Events

Looking for a different way to entertain clients, or a change from the usual staff night out? Maybe we can help... Come and spend the evening with us and learn some of the skills and traditions of archery.

Your evening will begin around 6.30pm and continues until dusk– for this reason we only run these sessions between early April and late September, to ensure you have a worthwhile experience.

You will first have time to meet your coaches who will be on hand throughout the evening to ensure that your shooting is safe as well as enjoyable. After the initial briefing, during which the basic technique of safe shooting will be explained; each archer will be kitted out with a suitable bow, arrows, arm guard and finger "tab". You will then be taken out onto the shooting area and our coaches will help you to shoot your first arrows towards the targets. Over the course of the evening, your technique improves along with your accuracy. The evening will typically conclude with a "shoot-off", for which prize medals are supplied.

As dusk draws in, we return to the clubhouse where you are welcome to take refreshments. Barbeques are available and we provide fuel as part of the cost of the event. Bring along your own food to cook and eat outside as the summer evening draws to a close and night settles in around you.

Please note: to be covered by our insurance, these events have to be arranged well in advance. We do not run Corporate Events on Wednesday evenings (our Club Night) or at weekends. We would ask for your choice of three dates, preferably with at least six weeks notice so that we can arrange a mutually convenient date.
